Leadership Academy 2026 Celebrates the Graduation of 19 Community Leaders

With great pride, we celebrate the graduation of 19 leaders from our community — 15 women and 4 men — who successfully completed the Leadership Academy 2026 program.

From March through May, participants met every Thursday in a collaborative space dedicated to learning and growth, focused on strengthening their leadership skills, personal confidence, and civic engagement.

The program provided participants with practical tools to encourage family involvement in community initiatives and civic leadership processes related to the issues that most impact our communities. In addition, they strengthened skills in teamwork, collaboration, and community network building.

One of the most valuable aspects of this cohort was the integration among participants from different cultures, countries, and professional backgrounds, who were able to share experiences, identify their individual strengths, and enhance them to put into practice both in each class and in their participation within the community.

Among the main topics covered during these weeks of training were:

  • Types of leadership
  • Effective communication techniques
  • Development and promotion of community projects
  • Conflict resolution
  • Critical thinking
  • Collaborative work and team leadership

Several participants agreed that this experience allowed them to improve their communication skills, strengthen their personal and professional development, and learn how to better direct their actions in both workplace and community settings.

“This program helped us step out of our comfort zone, become more active members of society, and feel more confident participating in community spaces and initiatives.” — Graduate

The Leadership Academy offers participatory spaces where attendees can apply what they have learned through group activities, practical exercises, and collaborative experiences that encourage integration, knowledge sharing, and the strengthening of relationships among community members.

We congratulate the graduates of Leadership Academy 2026 and wish them great success in all their projects and future community initiatives.
