With more than 140 people in attendance, Para Los Niños celebrated the opening of its Outdoor Art Gallery, a project now featured on the façade of our building and showcasing seven murals created by local artists.
This project was made possible through the support of Free and Reduced Access, supported by 4Culture, and aims to bring art closer to the community by creating a public-access space that celebrates creativity, cultural diversity, and the talent of artists from our region.
The opening brought together artists, PLN sponsors, members of our Board of Directors, families, community members, and partner organizations, who had the opportunity to learn more about each of the artworks. Throughout the event, attendees were able to experience the artists’ work up close, speak with them about their creative processes, and learn more about their artistic journeys. The afternoon also provided an opportunity for community connection and gathering, accompanied by a delicious meal.
The celebration also featured live music by Alfredo Chávez and the musical directors, who accompanied the afternoon with a variety of Latin American rhythms, creating a special atmosphere for everyone to come together and celebrate.
Beyond transforming the façade of our building, this gallery represents an opportunity to make art a gathering place for our community, recognizing the stories, perspectives, and creative expressions of local artists.
